A real treat and great find by pure luck but you can't miss this for ambiance, service and food. Suspect the drinks are as good as the food which was spectacular. Best seafood casserole this seafood lover has, to my recollection, ever had. My compliments to the kitchen.
Went for the proper Sunday Roast. The inside is charming, and the staff was warm and welcoming. We’re on holiday and had the best time! One of our favorite meals!
Greatest pub in Edinburgh. Very reasonable, especially malts of the week. Great selection of whiskies and spirits, wine too. Food is really well done as well, helpful and friendly staff to boot.
A beautifully eclectic establishment serving some lovely whiskeys. Prices are about right. Didn't order any food so can't comment there, wouldve been nice if the staff knew about whiskeys but wasn't a problem. The place looks fantastic, would love to see a vintage bandit/automaton in there but that's just my opinion (can source if you want one). Will definitely be visiting again when next in Scotland.
Sean, the bartender is simply the best. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. My friends and I enjoy having whiskey and food here. Will come back for sure!
We really enjoyed this spot for some dinner on a Saturday night. Nice and busy, but easy to book a table same day. They do a range of open sandwiches but we opted for the dinner specials and the burger and pork cheek were both excellent. Great service too, would recommend.
